MEET LAINEY
Behind Greenville Head Spa is a story rooted in generations, passion, resilience, and a calling to care for others.
Jennifer “Lainey” Aprile is a licensed Cosmetologist, Trichologist, and Mesh Integration Specialist with more than 20 years in the beauty industry and a Best of the Upstate award-winning hairstylist.
Her love for hair began generations before her. Her great-grandfather, Charles “Shorty” Laye, owned the historic Clemson House Barber Shop on Clemson University’s campus—a legacy of craftsmanship, community, and connection that continues today through Lainey and her son, Eathan, who carries the family tradition forward as a barber in Greenville.
After her own journey with ovarian cancer, Lainey’s passion for beauty took on a deeper meaning. She became especially passionate about scalp health, hair loss, restoration, education, and whole-person wellness. That passion became the foundation for Greenville Head Spa.
Today, Lainey brings together her love of hair, years of education and experience, and a genuine desire to help people feel confident, cared for, and understood.
From beautiful, transformative hair to restorative scalp and wellness experiences, her mission is simple: to help every guest feel their absolute best—inside and out.

MEET LAINEY’S SON
EATHAN CAMPUZANO
Eathan attended Converse College where he played soccer and also played for Electric City in Anderson, South Carolina. Today his passion has shifted into mastering the art of barbering and developing his craft through precision cutting and both traditional and modern cutting at Oxford’s Barbershop located in the West End of Greenville, South Carolina.
As many of you know, with the overwhelming growth of my business and my transition into an all -women’s, faith based environment focused on scalp care, hair restoration, extensions and color corrections/ blending, Ive made the decision to begin referring ALL of my existing male guests to Eathan.
If you have trusted me over the years and are looking for the same level of care in a traditional modern barbershop, I would be honored to send you his way.
Oxford Barber Co. has four different locations, and Eathan will take great care of you.

A Legacy of Craft & Community
Generations Behind the Chair
Some legacies are built over a lifetime. Others are passed from one generation to the next.
My story began with my great-grandfather, Charles “Shorty” Lay, who spent more than 63 years serving the Clemson University community as a barber. His shop became more than a place for a haircut—it was a place where relationships were built, stories were shared, and generations of Clemson families came through his chair.
What he passed down was more than the art of barbering. He passed down the value of hard work, craftsmanship, community, and taking pride in serving others.
That knowledge and passion continued through my Uncle Dennis Lay, my cousin Michael Lay, and eventually to me. Today, I am honored to see that same legacy continue through my son, Eathan Campuzano.
Five generations. One shared love for this craft. And a tradition that continues to grow.
For our family, hair has never simply been a career. It has been a way to connect with people, build community, and make a difference in the lives of those who sit in our chairs.
I am incredibly proud to carry my great-grandfather’s legacy forward—and even more grateful to see the next generation carrying it with us.
His knowledge became our foundation.
His passion became our inheritance.
And his legacy continues through us.
