MEET JENNIFER (LAINEY) APRILE
Behind Greenville Head Spa is more than a business- it’s a story rooted in legacy, resilience and a deep calling to serve.
Jennifer (Lainey) Aprile is a licensed Cosmetologist, Trichologistand Mesh Integration Specialist. She was awarded Best Hairstylist by Best Of The Upstate and has over 20 years in the industry. Her connection to hair began long before she ever stepped behind the chair.
Her great grandfather Charles aka Shorty Laye owned the historic Clemson House Barber Shop, located on Clemson University’s Campus. It was a place where community, craftsmanship and connection were built one client at a time. That legacy has carried through generations, and today, her son Eathan continues that tradition at Oxford Barbershop located in the West End of Downtown Greenville.
Hair has never just been a career-its been a calling woven into her bloodline.
Over the years Lainey has dedicated herself to to mastering her craft, training alongside some of the most influential artist in the industry Guy Tang, Martin Parsons, Sam Villa, Candy Shaw, Ted Gibson and many others. Her passion for education and growth has allowed her to refine not only her technical skills but also her ability to truly understand each guest who sits in her chair.
But her journey took a deeper turn when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
What once was beauty and transformation became something far more meaningful-healing, restorative, and educational. This is where the Greenville Head Spa was born.
Lainey recognized that so many people were struggling with scalp issues, hair loss, and overall hair health-but lacked the knowledge, guidance, and personalized care to truly address it. She set out to create something different…something intentional.
As the founder of the Greenville’s first Oway Salon & Spa, Lainey has created a one-on-one environment focused on scalp health, hair restoration, and total relaxation using biodynamic, nontoxic products that support both beauty and overall health.
Yet, through it all, her love for doing hair has never left.
From precision cuts and lived in blondes to extensions and transformative color, Lainey continues to serve her clients behind the chair-because its about The connection, The confidence, The moment that someone sees themselves differently.
Greenville Head spa is not just a service its an experience built on generations of passion, years of dedication, and a heart for helping others feel their absolute best.

FOUR GENERATIONS BEHIND THE CHAIR. WATCH HOW HER GREAT GRANDFATHER STARTED IT ALL AT THE CLEMSON HOUSE BARBER SHOP LOCATED ON CLEMSON UNIVERSITY!
There’s something really special about watching generations continue what was started before us!
Im so proud to share my son, Eathan Campuzano- a fifth generation barber carrying on a family legacy of serving others through this industry we both love.
Eathan attended Converse College where he played soccer and also played for Electric City in Anderson, South Carolina. Today his passion has shifted into mastering the art of barbering and developing his craft through precision cutting and both traditional and modern cutting at Oxford’s Barbershop located in the West End of Greenville, South Carolina.
As many of you know, with the overwhelming growth of my business and my transition into an all -women’s, faith based environment focused on scalp care, hair restoration, extensions and color corrections/ blending, Ive made the decision to begin referring ALL of my existing male guests to Eathan.
If you have trusted me over the years and are looking for the same level of care in a traditional modern barbershop, I would be honored to send you his way.
Oxford Barber Co. has four different locations, and Eathan will take great care of you.
Thank you ALL for your referrals and supporting not just my business but my sons and our family legacy.
